I sent an inquiry to CI to see if the summer reading package had made it to Zambia yet. They said that no packages for Mwanza have been received. Has anyone received word from their Zambian children about the package? I am not sure why it takes so darn long! Frustrating!

I think I can break the record for non receipt of packages to Zambia. My longest overdue, and probably lost or stolen, is from 15th Dec 2008!!! Plus there are another 6 sent at 2 month intervals none of which have arrived. In the past I sometimes have had to wait a year before one arrived but this is getting beyond a joke. I don't know if something criminal is happening in the postal service or if the local CI office is way behind with everything as mentioned earlier this year. In a way I am hoping that it is the latter and that they still might turn up.
