A Package for Antony in Guatemala

I sent Antony David from Guatemala a direct package around the beginning of February and I received the pictures and a letter in the mail from him on Monday. He has the cutest little smile. His mother still writes his letters for him,but he will be turning 8 in December so I am hoping soon he will write to me on his own. Here is what their letter read:

Antony and his family say hello to you with happiness we hope you are doing well. Antony is happy and glad to receive your nice gift which is 3 shirts,1 box of wax crayons,1 box of colored pencils,1 set of toy cars,3 boxes of stickers,1 photo album with 6 photos,1 toy,toy car stickers,and coloring book. Antony is grateful with your help he says you have a wonderful and beautiful family,you are very special to him. Antony is sending blessings for you and your family. God bless you. These are the family pictures I received of John and his family a couple of weeks ago. They are a sweet family and so grateful for everything. John is a very sweet boy and his little smile is so sweet, I think that he may be a little shy or at least he looks like he may be ha.

*Special note, if you would like to post items regarding your sponsor child, please send the pictures, write up, first name, middle initial, and country they live in to macandmic@gmail.com . Several of these children have common names so the middle initial is essential. Also, I can't remember where everyone's children are from, so just make sure to remind me of everything in your e-mail. Jhunie and His Family

I received Jhunie's family pictures in the mail the other day and in the envelope was also the special needs report I requested of the family. It said they are in need of a room to be repaired and the supplies all come to $100 so I am hoping before long I can get that done for them. He has such a lovely family and he is a little sweetheart,he makes me proud :).

Last but not least is Gerson Benjamin from Guatemala. He just turned 8 in January. He lives with his parents and four siblings. I haven't received a letter from him yet either,I just started sponsoring him last weekend. So it will probably be a little while til I get his first letter.

Meet Melinda's Child Anthony in Ecuador

Here is Anthony from Ecuador,he is the baby of my sponsored children family. He is only 3 years old,he will be turning 4 in a just a couple of days. His birthday is April 1st. He lives with his mother and his two siblings,his father has abandoned the family. I just started sponsoring around the first of March so I haven't received a letter from him yet but I am hoping soon. :)

This is John and he is the oldest out of my sponsored children. He is 8 years old and will be 9 in November. Him and his four siblings live with their parents in the Philippines. I was happy when I received the new pictures of John in the mail and he was smiling in them,this is the first time I have seen a picture of him smiling. It made my day :). Here is a letter I received from him on Friday.


Dear sponsor,Hello. I wish you good day! I received the special donation you sent to me. How happy I am upon receiving it. Mom and I bought the following things I needed and some things we needed at home and I know that things will help us a lot. We got clothes keeper for our things to keep and rice and groceries. I also had some clothing to add to my things also. Mother got dish drainer for the kitchen. My sincerest thanks for sending me special donation to Children International. Meet Melinda's Child Jhunie in the Philippines

This is Jhunie from the Philippines. It will be a year in April that I have been sponsoring him.He is only 6 yrs old his birthday is in July so he will soon be 7. His father is deceased and his mother isn't living with the family,it doesn't say that she abandoned them on his info sheet so I am guessing that she may be away working somewhere. Jhunie and his three siblings live with some of their relatives. This is the letter I received from him a couple of weeks ago.
