Rosalie's Fundraiser Follow Up

These picures are from the fundraiser we did for Tamara's child Rosalie in the Philippines. She was in desperate need of house repairs. Their home had many holes that needed patching. Every time it would rain, they would have to put pails under all of the leaks in the roof. Now, they can sleep peacefully and stay safe and sound in their newly repaired home!! It is wild how so little can make a big difference. Some of you donated $10, some donated $20, etc. Look at what a big difference your donation made!!! Thank you to all that helped this family!

THANK YOU from Tamara, Jeffrey and Rosalie!

Tamara would like to tell everyone thank you. The fundraiser for Rosalie and Jeffrey is now complete, which means they will soon have a toilet! Tamara wrote "I emailed all of my friends and asked them to help with my fundraiser but no one donated. I just have to thank all those CI sponsors that helped out with my fundraiser." So, there it is:

Thank you!!

My Final Plea for Rosalie

This is my final plea for Rosalie's fundriaser, I promise. She only needs $97 more! The other news to note is that if this can fund by tomorrow, she will get the funds in April (instead of having to wait until May). One of the items they desperately need is a toilet- Who can't respect that?! A toilet is not a luxury but a necessity!- The other options are unsanitary and lead to the spread of diseases. $97 when broken down between several people is really not that much. I hope you will help me get this little girl a toilet for April! To donate, click here

Headed to our 1 Year Anniversary!!

Maria's fundraiser needs $229. To donate, click here
Rosalie's fundraiser only needs $122 to be complete!!! To donate, click here

Kevin's fundraiser needs $347. To donate, click here

On April 9th, 2009, Make a Change launched their first ever group fundraiser! We are less than 2 weeks away from our 1 year anniversary!! We have helped 28 families so far. If we can help just 2 of these current fundraisers and get them funded by then, we will be able to put down 30 families for our accomplishments in one year! Rosalie's is so close to being funded, so it's not out of reach. Thank you all for your continued support of our families and children!!

*Limited Time Offer*

These are the aprons offered in this limited time offer fundraiser. The are hand made, and fit any child. They even fit adults, but as you can see above, they fit to about the waist. They don't fit people with a large waist because the apron would not tie. A very important question was asked as to whether these could be shipped to a sponsor child. Absolutely! You can either tell me the child's name & ID & Country, and I will put it away for the Christmas packages, or I can ship it to you to send to your child.

Remember, this apron is absolutely free to you (I am buying them out of my own pocket). All you have to do is support our fundraisers. A $15 donation gets you an apron! (Don't forget to e-mail me your address)- I have 5 aprons left!

You can make a donation to any of these fundraisers:

Maria's

Rosalie's

Kevin's

If you have something you would like to raffle off or use as a fundraiser, please let me know. It doesn't have to be only your fundraiser you help. Remember that the faster the other fundraisers fund, the sooner your fundraiser starts!!

Updates on Current Fundraisers*Limited Time Offer*

Hi, everyone! This is me, Heather in avatar form! I have been very busy these past few days with setting up sale outlets and partners for the MIC program. It is a lot of work, but it will bring great rewards, I am sure (patience is a virtue, or so they say).
Our fundraisers have been quite impressive. I am very happy that they are doing well! That means more children and more families will be helped!
As an update, these are the two current fundraisers:

I am offering a child sized apron handmade in Uganda to the first 8 people to donate $15 to either one of these fundraisers! I will pay the Ugandan women, and the shipping to your home! If you want to be a big donor, feel free, if you donate $30, I'll send you two! For $45, I'll send you three! Let's get these fundraisers funded! And, please send me your address, so that I cna get your apron/aprons to you!

Fundraiser #23 only needs $219!!

Rosalie's fundraiser is almost complete!! She only needs $219 more!
I, also, wanted to say that I am opening up the fundraisers again. I can add 5 more fundriasers to the end of our list. Special needs break downs would need to be ordered, so it is imperative to go ahead and get them ordered now. It can take as much as 3 months to get a response. The max for these fundraisers is $300. If you would like to have a fundraiser on that list of 5, you need to donate at least $75 to the current fundraisers. After you have donated, e-mail me your child's full name & ID, and I will get the special needs request submitted.

Yet Another Raffle!!! Easter Quilt

Front of quilt (above) & back of quilt (below)
close up of quilt (below)

This quilt has been offered up by a generous lady that doesn't even have a fundraiser going on! Mack's mother Carolanne has made this Easter quilt to raise money for our current fundraisers. As you can see it is big enough for an adult but soft enough for a baby!! The back is made of snuggly flannel. Perfect for the days when you feel like staying home & snuggling up on the couch/bed/wherever your comfort spot is!! Perfect for a rainy day or snow day!

So, the deal is a $1 donation = 1 raffle ticket, and you can donate to either of our two current fundraisers to enter! The raffle will go until 3/14/10 at 8:30PM CST. Here are the links for you:

Welcome to Fundraiser #23!

Meet Rosalie! This fundraiser was originally sent up to be for Jeffrey in the Philippines. However, you may remember that Tamara sponsors a lot of the children that are graduating from the sponsorship program. Jeffrey was one of those children. He was scheduled to graduate the sponsorship program last month. Since Tamara wanted to maintain contact with the family and continue to help them, she decided to sponsor his little sister Rosalie!

This fundraiser is for home repairs that will benefit the entire family! They only need a little over $300 to fund this project, since $60 has already been raised. If you would like to help Rosalie, Jeffrey, and their family, please make your donation here

Plus, stay tuned for more great news! By the way, make sure that you forward your pictures and letters as you get them from our Summer Reading Packages & our completed fundraisers!
