Here is a list of commonly asked questions with answers. If you think of any more questions, send me an e-mail. I will add the response to your question on this post. Here they are:
*Question #1: What project number am I?
~Answer: Here is a list of all projects 1 through 10:
1- Robyn's child Janet
2- Barbara's child Miguel
3- Jim's child Katherine
4- Heather's child Henry
5- Su's children Alejandra & Fabiola
6- Chrystal's child Brenda
7- Wilfredo's child Aila
8- Holly's child Yoselyn
9- Heather G's child Diego
10- Tamara's children Angelito & Jhonalyn
*Question #2: My project is complete, but I have another one that I want to raise money for. When can I start another fundraiser?
~Answer: The rotation will start back at the beginning after project #10 is complete, for anyone who still has fundraisers they want to do. So, Robyn would be project number 11, if she wanted to be. Barbara number 12, and so forth.
*Question #3: I don't have a project in the list of the first 10, can I still do a fundraiser with the group?
~Answer: Absolutely! All I ask is that you, also, participate in helping others with their fundraisers. I will squeeze new people in as I get the requests and detailed information about the project.
*Question #4: My project has funded, what do I do now?
~Answer: Nothing! I have everything under control on this end. After the project funds, I let our CI contact know, and she will take it from there. You don't have to worry about a thing!
*Question #5: My project funded in April, when will my sponsored child get their special needs donation?
~Answer: All projects funded in April will be disbursed to the field offices by the end of May.
*Question #6: My project funded May 1st, when will my sponsored child get their special needs donation?
~Answer: All projects funded in May will be disbursed to the field offices by the end of June. First Giving only send one check a month to CI. The check usually arrives by the middle of the following month. The funds must be processed on CI's end and disbursed according to the child. They are then set to the child.
*Question #7: I donated to a fundraiser on First Giving, is it tax deductible?
~Answer: Absolutely! You are making a donation to CI. CI gets a list of all contributors, and will acknowledge your contribution.
*Question #8: I already have a special needs request, and would like to do a fundraiser. What information do you need from me to start my fundraiser?
~Answer: I need:
-your account number
-child ID number
-the details of what the special request is for/scanned attachment of the letter received from CI
-several paragraphs of how you would like the fundraiser page to read
-any special memo that you want to send to your child with the donation
E-mail all of this information to kidscanchange@gmail.com
*Question #9: I want to do a fundraiser, but I don't have a special needs request from CI. How can I get my fundraiser expedited?
~Answer: Since we have a contact at CI that is working on all of our groups requests, all I need is your account #, child ID, and if you have anything specific you want the special needs to be for. I will forward that info on to CI. CI contact will send a request for details of special needs and for photos of the families living conditions. The information will then be e-mailed to me (and I will e-mail it to you), and, also, be mailed to you.
*Question #10: I donated to a fundraiser. How can I see the results of the donation?
~Answer: The pictures and thank you will be forwarded to me in an e-mail (hopefully by our CI contact). If they are not forwarded to me by her, it will be up to the sponsor to forward the information to me. I will then post the results on this blog, and any updates thereafter.
This is only the beginning of the questions, but I have to take a break now. At least you have some of the answers now that you may have been looking for. Check back frequently for updates to this post.

Thanks Heather - great info!
Thanks for all the answers! One more question is this:
Will there be a way to showcase the completed projects?
Thanks again, Heather, for all of your hard work!
If other people join in will they be number 11 12 etc?
or will they hve to wait until some have had 2 turns?
I will work projects in as they become available. So, if you haven't had a project with the group yet and want to participate, you will be added according to:
1. How soon we can get the details for the special needs
2. How soon we can get a photo of the living conditions of the family
3. How many others are already in line. For example, right now, I only have 10 projects. If someone comes to me with all of the above today, more than likely, you would make the #11 spot.
