Dulce is 10 years old. She lives with her aunt and uncle. She is the girl in the middle in the picture above. Her mother passed away a while back. Her father is sick and deaf. He does not feel like her can take care of Dulce on his own, so she stays with relatives. I got a letter from her today. This is what she said:
"Dear sponsor Heather,
It is a pleasure for me to receive the beautiful stickers and your picture with your family. I want to tell you that you are the best sponsor in the world. I love you very much and I am very happy because you remember my birthday. I like to go to church and the amusement park. I close with love and affection. Your sponsored child Dulce"
