Because neither Paola nor her mother know how to write, the letter I received was written by Araceli (whom Mack spoke of in her earlier posts). This is what the letter says:
Dear sponsor,
Paola is a 4 year old girl. She is happy and playful. She likes to run around with her sisters, play ball, sing and dance. Paola likes to eat pretty much everything but especially likes beans and soup.
She still is not old enough for Kindergarten. She is a very active girl. Even though she is only 4 years old, she likes it play in the street and run in the field that is around her home. On behalf of Mrs. Rosa who thanks you for sponsoring her daughter.
