Miracles in Caring Group

If you were wondering the length and look of the short single strand necklaces, see above. Isn't he a cutie!?
Can you guess what these purses are made of?

To keep up with the group, the news is updated several times a week. Here is the link that you can add to your favorites to stay up to date on the MIC group.

The women made these awesome purses above. Can anyone tell what they are made of? I am not sure how many of these purses will be included in the shipment because the ladies are still working on them. I know I want one!

Also, you can sponsor a mother or student for $30. The $30 will go to the shipment of more items. The reason the items are being shipped from Uganda to the US is because they don't sell for much there. These women & students work so hard, and they should be compensated appropriately.

When you sponsor a mother or student, you will be able to write to them directly and see exactly how you are helping them! For the mothers, the money they earn from the sells will go to support their families. For the students, the money they earn will be put toward continuing their education.

Once I receive these items, I will put them in both web-stores (as well as selling them in other places). These items will be available for the Christmas packages to our children, so say tuned!

This is the most hands-on IGP we have ever attempted to do. It will be exciting to watch it grow! For those of you who are already sponsoring mothers or students of the MIC group, please share your letters as you get them.

I think the purses are made of tortoise shells and super glue! Or possibly reeds of some kind?
