I missed out on scanning Jonathan's pictures, so you will just have to use your imagination for now. I sent him a small package in a flat rate envelope. It contained a blank notebook, coloring book, box of Crayola markers, box of Crayola colored pencils, pencil sharpener, and a Spiderman beach ball. This was the thank you letter he wrote:
Hi, Heather McLaughlin!
My grandmother and I say hello. We are doing well. I have good grades in school. (Then, he goes on to list the contents of the package he received) They are nice, and I am very happy because I will use them all. I like reading too. I say goodbye with a big hug,
