Fundraiser #25 for Leydi Part 2

Leydi (in the peach colored shirt) is a very needy child. I know we all have several of them- They are the children that live on incomes so low they can only buy food as a luxury- or their house is just a bunch of wood and tin stacked on top of each other- maybe they don't even have running water or sanitary facilities. Leydi is needy is many ways. Her family's income is very low. Her father earns an income of only $65 a month, and that is when he is feeling well enough to work! He is very ill, and therefore, may not be able to work much longer or keep up his strength. I had originally thought of an IGP, but with Leydi's father's failing health, it is not a good time right now.

The second way that Leydi is needy is because she has her own special health issues that require money for supplements, trips to the doctor, etc. These are all necessities and basic human rights (health).

To assist Leydi with her various needs, I would like to provide her with a bed, so that she won't have to sleep on a rug on the floor, a mosquito net because her body would not be able to fight off malaria, food for the household because they all need the nutrition to stay alive, clothing because she does not have clothes that fit her, a towel to clean with, and bedding for the bed.

Because of the perfect timing of this fundraiser (right before her birthday), I thought it would be a nice memory for her if she could have one carefree day in her life. A day when everyone is celebrating HER life! This is destined to be a wonderful experience for her! She will have a cake, pinata, her friends, and family- A milestone that she has made it to her 9th birthday!

Please help me make her dreams come true, and help her live a long and healthy life. To donate click here
