Here is a short little update about what is going on with the Miracles in Caring group. We have had a rough start. Hellen has been ill the whole time!! She is STILL ill, and has NO strength. Innocent (her brother) is nursing her back to health, but the food is expensive. He has to buy food that will "stick to her ribs" and help her gain strength.
I have sold some items online, but the fees of the sites have been almost equal to the profit! The good thing is that now the fees have been paid, so anything after that will be all profit!! There are 122 items listed on one site and another 25 or so on another site. Plus, on the 24th, I will have a booth at a local Earth Fest (see the picture above, I will display the necklaces and bracelets on a similar display at the event). Let's pray that brings the group the income they all so desperately need.
Today, I am going to send a small wire to Innocent to buy Hellen food because they have nothing left (I wanted to only wire when there is $100+ to save on the wire fees)! A blessing came across when 4 items sold last night, so it was perfect timing. I am sending the group $40 this morning (plus have to pay a $9 wire fee). The money will be given to Innocent to disburse to the families.
Hellen is in a very critical condition.
