This blog contains information about child sponsorship. All of the sponsors mentioned here support their sponsor children by making regular contributions that enable the sponsor children to receive health benefits, tuition support, food, and many other benefits. If you have ever doubted the value of becoming a sponsor- take a few moments to check out this blog. Most importantly, take note at the difference a special needs donation makes with our Make a Change fundraisers!

Update on Jonathan in Ecuador
Jonathan is now 11 years old. You may remember he recently received an IGP from the MAC fundraisers. The field updated his photo at the same time. Strange thing happened after that. I noticed that his family income skyrocketed!! However, nothing else on his report had changed, and it was still dated 5/26/2009. I checked with CI to find out what was going on. It turns out that it is not time for his report to be updated, but they did want to report the positive effects of the IGP. He went from $60 a month to $180 a month!! Wow!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for helping Jonathan and his grandmother boost their income! Part of the funds will be used on transportation to and from the medical appointments he must go to that are far from where he lives. I know this is a big help for his grandmother.
